Il a publié de nombreux essais et articles sur l'art des années 60 à nos jours et collabore régulièrement aux revues Art Press et Critique d'Art ainsi qu'aux Cahiers du Musée National d'Art Moderne. Il a assuré en 2010 le commissariat de l'exposition Jan Dibbets au Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.
